Lagos government unseals restaurant owned by Reverend Cubana hours after it was closed

The Lagos State Government has unsealed De-Angels Donald’s Fast Food, owned by celebrity bartender, Imam Head Cubana hours after the establishment was closed.

Recall that the state commissioner for environment and water resources, Tokunboh Wahab, announced the closure of the restaurant located at Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1, in a post shared on X (formerly Twitter).

Wahab claims that Donald’s Fast Food was closed for violating environmental laws despite multiple warnings and abatement notices being sent to the owners.

“After several warnings and abatement notices, LASEPA sealed Donald’s Fast Food at Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1 for noise pollution and other environmental violations,” he wrote on his X page.

Team members from the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) have now opened the packet of Donald’s De-Angels Fast Food in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to reports, the restaurant owners signed an agreement promising to comply with state environmental regulations, and that’s when the decision was made to unseal the place.

The restaurant’s decision to reopen included a promise to only operate as a fast-food restaurant in the future, as it was initially prohibited due to its location in a residential area of ​​the state and the fact that nightclubs and parties are prohibited there.
