The Lagos state government has scheduled elections in 20 regional government regions (LGA) and 37 Local Council Development Authority (LCDAS) in the state for July 12.
The Head of Public Affairs, the Lagos State Independent Election Commission (LASEC), Tope Ojo, revealed this in a statement on Friday night in the State Yaba region.
He said the commission had improved July 19 for the reerun election.
Ojo confirmed that LasiC would meet all political parties who took part in the election on Tuesday.
“Election guidelines will be issued on April 17.
“Campaign and demonstration will begin on April 18 and end on July 9.

“The nomination form for ‘substituted’ and ‘one -one candidates’ must be submitted between June 18 and June 25,” the spokesman added.
The Chairperson of LASEC, soccer judge Okikiolu-Eghile (RETD), promised a flat play field for all political parties in the state.
He reiterated the commitment of the commission for free and fair elections.
