Latest News: Ogun APC adopts serving prominent senator as consensus candidate for governor

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has adopted Senator Solomon Adeola Olamilekan as its consensus candidate for the 2027 gubernatorial election

The decision was made during the party’s strategic caucus meeting held on Monday, at the party secretariat, Abeokuta, the state capital.

Governor Dapo Abiodun, in declaring the decision of the consensus candidate, said the decision is aimed at harmonizing the party, free from anti-party acrimony, as it prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Olamilekan is a senator serving in the 10th Senate and the National Assembly.
