The Governor of the State of Zamfara, Dauda Lawal, on Wednesday rejected the rumors about the planned changes from the Democratic Party (PDP) of the people to the Congress of All Progressive (APC).
Governor. who appeared on the television program channel, Politics Today, said he had no intention of joining APC or the newly adopted coalition opposition platform, African Democratic Congress (ADC).
“First of first, I am glad you say rumors that APC, ADC, and any political party ask me to join their party,” he said.
“And I explained that I was a member of the PDP card carrier and I was still in PDP, I had no intention of going anywhere.
“So, what you hear is rumors but I am still in PDP and don’t intend to go anywhere for now.”
Lawal also revealed that he had a very good relationship with the President of Bola Tinubu ‘.

But he was silent when asked whether he would support the president’s re -election offer in 2027.
Asked whether he would support the President during the election,
“Let’s see how the events will be revealed, there is still a time until 2027, we still have the next two years.
“So, I don’t think politics must be the main problem at this time, I think we must focus on governance,” said the Governor.
