Liverpool star dies in a car accident in Spain

It is a sad moment in the world of football when the Liverpool star Diogo Jota dies in a car accident in Spain on Thursday.

It was said that Jota was traveling with his younger brother, André, a 26-year-old footballer, when his car was involved in a fatal accident on the A-52 highway in Zamora, in the Spain region of Castilla y León.

Emergency services confirmed the accident. A statement by the authorities said: “The operating room of Castilla y León 1-1-2 received several calls that reported a vehicle accident in Km. 65 of the A-52, in the municipality of Cernadilla, Zamora. It was reported that a car had been involved in an accident and the vehicle was on fire.”

They said that his car, a Lamborghini, left the road due to a tire that stirred another vehicle and then caught fire.

Jota married his long -term fellow Rute Cardoso, with whom he had three children, last month.

Jota helped Liverpool win the premier League title last season and also played for Portugal, since they beat Spain in the final of the Nations League in June.
