Abuja (Core Reporter) Volleyball Club La Loi del Congo Dr has come from an overwhelmed SOCOCIM set 3-1 (11-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-17) to earn the first victory in the current championship.

Soc was brighter in the first set, running away with the set 25-11. In the second set VLL was the team that comes out of the gate! Some incredible gatherings: back and forth, they attack, dig, they led Soc to call a timeout. However, VLL is never a team to bend and started by chip away, in the end leveling the 1-1 game with a 25-21 victory.

VLL was all business in the third set. Soc was standing for the first four points from some very strong servants, finally increasing their advantage. VLL continued strong, extending their advantage and Soc called Time Out. He seemed to turn their game a little and managed to close the gap, but it was too late when Vll won it 25-15.

VLL once again showed their strength and consistency: a combination of super peaks and defense, and rolled up from there to win the set 25-17 and the 3-1 game.

In another game, in office for the champions, Zamalek recorded a 100% winning record in the Pool B after 3-0 victory (25-8, 25-14, 25-11) on Botswana Spiking Stars.

Zmk attacked with a purpose and brought 8-2 in a few minutes. Powerful blows and blocks of monsters have obtained a series of points for the Egyptians. The ZMK were too strong and they occurred clear to take the 25-18 set.

In the second set Zmk took the first point and a series of SSP errors firmly put Zmk in front. Zmk has guided significantly and SSP had little response since Zmk sealed him 25-14.

SSP was in trouble at the beginning of the 3rd set while Zmk pushed safely. SSP scored some points but, in the end, it was a swept 3-0 clean, the last set 25-11 on Zmk.
