Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman is aiming to continue his fine form in Atalanta’s upcoming Champions League encounter against Arsenal.
The Nigeria international played a pivotal role in Atalanta’s dramatic 3-2 Serie A win over Fiorentina on Sunday, where he was named Man of the Match.
Atalanta, who face Arsenal in their Champions League opener next week, are preparing to continue their fine run of form.
Speaking after the match against Fiorentina, Lookman expressed his excitement about the upcoming challenge.
“We are very happy to be in the Champions League this season,” said the Nigerian international.

“We deserved it and we have to prove it. We want to show the same drive and mentality that we had today to come back.”
Lookman’s impressive performance on Sunday included an assist for Atalanta’s opening equaliser, followed by the winning goal.
“I’m happy to be back in front of our fans and playing football here. We have a strong team this season and I’m enjoying it. So, let’s move on,” Lookman added.
