Many killed in the filming of the Austrian school

Several people were killed in a school in the Austrian city of Graz.

The police said she had deployed officers at school after the blows were heard there Tuesday 10 June 2025.

The Ministry of the Interior said that there were several victims but did not specify how many.

However, the local newspaper Kronen Zeitung said that eight people were confirmed death in the filming of the school.

The victims included the suspected attacker, the Austrian broadcaster Orf mentioned the Ministry of the Interior.

Several serious injuries included students and teachers, the Fritz Grundnig police spokesman.

The special forces were among those sent to the Borg Dreierschutzengasse High School after a call at 10:00 local time.

The police said about an hour on X after the deployment was still ongoing and which concerned a helicopter.

“Currently, a police operation is underway. The reason for the deployment was that the shots were listened to in the building,” said the police.

Graz, the second largest city in Austria, is located in the south-east of the country and has about 300,000 inhabitants.

The attacks in public are rare in the Alpine nation of almost 9.2 million people.

In February, a stabbed left a dead teenager and five other people injured in southern Austria, with a 23 -year -old Syrian asylum seeker.
