Former Governor of Kaduna State, Night Nasir El-Rufai, has rejected Gale recently about high profile defeat by politicians from the opposition party to the Congress of All Progressive (APC), by saying such defense is meaningless because the ruling party has been challenged by several people.
El-Rufai, who made a statement while interacting with journalists in Kano on Monday, said the detection of the Governor of the State Delta, Sheriff Oborevwori, former Governor of Ifeiri Okowa, and a number of PDP chiefs in the state, as well as reported detention.
The new former Minister of FCT was canceled from the APC, emphasizing that such defense is quite meaning
“As far as I know, high profile politicians are not a problem. APC starts well but is finally worn by one or two people,” El-Rufai said.

“This restriction is good for headlines and sells newspapers, but politically in the field, if you don’t have people, your profile has no meaning.
“We want to return politics to people, not to Baptist’s father or so-called high profile politicians,” he said.
Speaking further, the former governor rejected the assumption that the detection of the governor from one party to the other would determine the results of the election in their states, emphasizing that the collective will of the Nigerian people was stronger.
“The governor only has one vote. Nigeria has millions. If people say no, it is over
“Even the president has a governor who seated and still lost lagos. I am the Governor of the State of Kaduna.” I struggled hard to give a president in my state, but I lost. The governor does not determine the results of the election – people do it, “he added.
