The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has presented an official protest to the African football confederation (CAF) against Namibia arbiter Antsino Twanyukwa, who handled Wafcon’s final against Nigeria, reports Owngoalnigeria.com.

In his statement, the FRMF expressed his dismay for the failure of the referee to grant a penalty in the 82nd minute when the score was tied 2-2.
According to Morocco’s complaint, the video images seemed to show a handball of a Nigerian defender inside the box, but after a VAR review, the referee chose to let the game continue, which caused immediate protests of the bank and the players of Morocco.
The MartΓ³cica Federation argued that the controversial decision had a decisive impact on the result of the party, which Nigeria won, claiming a tenth Wafcon title that extends records.
