“The escalation of the new violence began on March 28, 2025, when some armed attackers launched a brutal attack in Bokkos, which resulted in the death of several people and serious injuries to many others.

‘This initial incident tragically marked the beginning of a series of attacks that had been claimed the lives of a number of people, making the community destroyed and gripped by fear.

“Recognizing the gravity of the situation, IGP has directed Digazhi and security forces who were deployed to take a multi-faceted approach, with a focus not only suppressing ongoing violence but also proactively preventing attacks in the future.

“Upon arrival in the State of the highlands on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Dig Kwazhi made a full respect visit at the executive governor of the State of the State of the Highlands, His Majesty, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang.
