The governor of the state of the plateau, Caleb Mutfwang, greeted the visit of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the State as a powerful symbol of unity and solidarity among the Nigerians.
In a declaration issued on behalf of the government and the people of the plateau, Mutfwang said that the participation of the president in the mother’s funeral Lydia Yilwatda Goshwe, mother of the national president of the APC, prof. Nentowe Yilwatda, has shown his empathy, respect and commitment to national cohesion.
“Your presence in our dear state was a great honor and a testimony of your dedication to unity and understanding throughout Nigeria. The people of the plateau deeply appreciates this gesture,” said the governor.
The president of the Senate Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Chamber Tajudeen Abbas, the members of the National Assembly, the Governors and Ministers who accompanied the president to the event, also praised.
Governor Mutfwang expressed optimism that President Tinubu would soon return to attend the current transformation and the renewed hope that he took root in the state of the plateau.
“We remain grateful for your visit and we can’t wait to host you soon,” he added.
