Naira depends on N10.44 against the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar on an official window on Friday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1,465.67/$ 1, compared to N1.455.23/$ 1 which was traded on Thursday.

This is the loss of N10.44 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira obtained the N20 of the dollar to be traded at N1.460/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.480/$ 1.

Local currencies also obtained N40 against British pounds to trade in N2,000/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2,040/£ 1.

However, it was closed flat against the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained N40 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,710/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,750/€ 1.
