Naira lost N11.37 to the dollar in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 530.25/$ 1 compared to N1, 518.88/$ 1 which is traded on Monday.

This is the advantage of N11.37 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained N15 against the dollar to trade at N1.540/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.550/$ 1.

Local currencies also obtained N5 against British pounds to trade at N2.150/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.155/£ 1.

However, it was closed flat against the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained the N10 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,810/€ 1.
