Naira obtained N0.31 against the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Thursday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed at N1.488.25/$ 1, compared to N1.488.56/$ 1 which is traded on Wednesday.

This represents the profit of N0.31 for local currencies against dollars.

Naira obtained N5 against American Greenback to trade at N1.500/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.505/$ 1.

It also obtained the N10 against the British pound to trade at N2,080/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.090/£ 1.

Naira closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Likewise, the local currency is closed flat against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,775/€ 1.
