Naira obtained N1.24 against the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, won an American dollar at an official window on Tuesday.

Foreign currency data of the Central Bank Nigeria (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1,487.36/$ 1, compared to N1.488.60/$ 1 which is traded on Monday.

This represents the appreciation of N1.24 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira obtained an N5 against the dollar to trade at N1.515/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.520/$ 1.

It closes flatly against the British pound to trade at N2,090/£ 1.

Local currencies are also closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.230/Ca $ 1.

Naira, however, loss of N5 to the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,785/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
