Naira obtained N2.01 against dollars in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Friday.

Foreign exchange data of Bank Nigeria (CBN) central bank shows that Naira is closed on N1, 532.51/$ 1 compared to N1, 534.52/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This is the advantage of N2.01 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira obtained an N5 against the dollar to trade at N1.550/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.555/$ 1.

Local currency obtained N5 against British pounds to trade at N2.110/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.115/£ 1.

However, it continues to close flat to the Canadian dollar to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained the N10 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,790/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,800/€ 1.
