Naira obtained N20.11 against the dollar. in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Thursday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed at N1.455.23/$ 1, compared to N1.475.34/$ 1 which is traded on Tuesday.

This represents the appreciation of the N20.11 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira obtained an N5 against the dollar to trade at N1.480/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.485/$ 1.

Local currencies also obtained N20 against British pounds to trade at N2,040/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2,060/£ 1.

However, it is closed flat to the Canadian dollar to be traded in N1.200/C $ 1,

Naira obtained the N10 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,750/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,760/€ 1.
