Naira obtained N4.03 against dollars in the official window, now under N1,500/$ 1

The Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in the official window on Monday, September 15, 2025.

According to Nigerian Central Bank data (CBN), Naira was closed at N1.497.46/$ 1, compared to N1.501.49/$ 1 which was traded on Friday, September 12, 2025.

This represents the appreciation of the N4.03 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira lost N5 to American Greenback to be traded on N1.535/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.540/$ 1.

Naira lost the N10 to the British pound to trade at N2.110/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.100/£ 1.

Naira closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.230/Ca $ 1, equal to the previous day level N1.230/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained N5 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,790/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,795/€ 1.
