Naira obtained N4.31 against dollars in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Monday.

According to Nigerian Central Bank data (CBN), Naira was closed on N1.476.34/$ 1, compared to N1.480.65/$ 1 which was traded on Friday.

This represents the appreciation of N4.31 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira lost the N10 to American Greenback to be traded at N1.515/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.505/$ 1.

Naira obtained N20 against British pounds to trade at N2,065/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2,085/£ 1.

Naira closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1, equal to the previous day level N1.200/Ca $ 1.

Naira obtained an N10 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,770/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,780/€ 1.
