The Nigerian currency, Naira, recovered a little on the US dollar on the official market on Wednesday.
Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira appreciates N1, 584.49/$ 1 compared to N1, 590./$1 it was traded on Friday.
This represents the profit N5.96 for local currencies.
In the black market, Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded in N1.625/$ 1 compared to the previous day level N1, 620/$ 1.
Naira also lost N5 to British pounds to trade at N2.165/£ 1 compared to the previous N2.160/£ 1.
After several weeks of surviving at N1.150/Ca $ 1, Canadian dollars appreciate Naira to trade at N1.200/Ca $ 1 compared to the previous N1.150/Ca $ 1,
Naira lost the N20 to the euro traded in ₦ 1,820/€ 1 compared to ₦ 1,800/€ 1 posted five days ago.
