Naira obtained N6.59 against dollars in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, continues to benefit from the American dollar at an official window on Thursday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 514.86/$ 1 compared to N1, 521.45/$ 1 which is traded on Wednesday.

This represents the appreciation of the N6.59 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded at N1.545/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.540/$ 1.

However, obtaining N10 against British pounds to trade at N2.105/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.115/£ 1.

Naira closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.230/Ca $ 1.

Local currency also obtains N10 against Euros to be traded in ₦ 1,785/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,795/€ 1.
