Naira obtained N7.60 against dollars in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, appreciated the US dollar in an official window on Friday.

Foreign currency data of Bank Nigeria (CBN) central bank shows that Naira is closed on N1.480.65/$ 1, such as N1.488.25/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This represents the appreciation of the N7.60 for the local currency of the American greenback.

Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded at N1.505/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.500/$ 1.

Local currencies also lost N5 to British pounds to be traded on N2,085/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2,080/£ 1.

Naira, however, closes flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.200/Ca $ 1.

It loses N5 to the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,780/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,775/€ 1.
