Naira spilled N0.38 against dollars in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, declined again against the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 535.61/$ 1 compared to N1, 535.23/$ 1 which is traded on Tuesday.

This is the loss of N0.38 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira lost N2 to the dollar to be traded in N1.530/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.528/$ 1.

Naira, however, obtained an N5 against British pounds to trade at N2.125/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.130/£ 1.

Local currency closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

This obtains N5 against Euro to trade in ₦ 1,770/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,775/€ 1.
