Naira spilled N3.15 against the dollar in the official window

Nigerian currency, Naira, further lost the land against the US dollar in an official window on Friday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed on N1, 539.23/$ 1 compared to N1.536.08/$ 1 which is traded on Thursday.

This is the loss of N3.05 for local currencies against American Greenback.

In the black market, Naira lost N5 to the dollar to be traded in N1.570/$ 1, compared to the previous day level N1.575/$ 1.

Naira, however, obtained the N10 against the British pound to trade at N2.180/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.170/£ 1.

Local currency closed flat against Canadian dollars to be traded at N1.200/Ca $ 1.

It loses the N10 to the Euro to be traded in ₦ 1,800/€ 1 compared to the previous day level ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
