Naira spilled N9.88 against dollars in the official window

The Nigerian currency, Naira, depreciated the US dollar in an official window on Wednesday.

Nigerian central bank data (CBN) shows that Naira is closed at N1.494.01/$ 1, compared to N1.484.13/$ 1 which is traded on Tuesday.

This represents the depreciation of N9.88 for local currencies against American Greenback.

Naira closes flatly against the dollar to be traded in N1.535/$ 1.

This obtains N5 to the British pound to trade at N2.100/£ 1 compared to the previous day level N2.105/£ 1.

Naira also closed flatly against Canadian dollars to be traded in N1.230/Ca $ 1.

Likewise, the local currency is closed flat against the euro to be traded in ₦ 1,790/€ 1.
