Naira Trades N1, 536/$ in the Official Market

Naira was traded N1.536.82 in the official market on Friday.

Data from the Bank of Nigeria (CBN) central website shows that Naira received an increase in N1.84 or 0.11 percent compared to N1, 538.66 per dollar recorded on Thursday.

On Monday, Naira was closed at N1, 531.19 per dollar. This is traded in N1.532.39 and N1.537.62 each on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Apart from this little loss, Naira has remained relatively stable against the United States dollar since December 2024, due to CBN reforms that promoted transparency in the foreign exchange market.
