The National League Club Owners and Managers Association (Nalcoma) expressed deep appreciation for the president of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, for its fundamental role in guaranteeing the successful hosting of the annual general meeting of the League (AGM).

In a statement after the AGM, the body of the club owners described Gusau’s leadership and commitment as a strong pillar of the support for Nigerian football, observing that its interventions continue to reposition the internal game for sustainable growth.

The Nalcoma led by Godwin Enakhena also gave the Plaudit to the Council of the Nigeria National League (NNL) for its determination to guide the reforms that will strengthen the League and make it more competitive.

According to ENAKHENA, “Aluo and his team have shown attention and innovation, which the interested parties believe that he will make the new season more exciting”.

“We greet the commitment of the NNL to discover and nourish talents that bloom in future stars for both clubs and country, through the most important League.

The president of Nalcoma equaled members for their active participation and constructive contributions during the AGM.

The collaboration of the association, he added, has enriched the discussions and decisions that will guide the next season.

The Board of Directors of Nalcoma also exploited the opportunity to welcome his newly elected members of the Executive Committee, describing their inclusion as a greater push for the League’s administration.

The new members are:

The general manager of Gombe United, Mallam Anas Bamusa, who replaces the engineer Auwal Mohammed Gotal of tourists Wikki as 1st vice president.

Jospeh Eno, president of Akwa United replaces chief Charles Chukwuemeka Nnadi by Kun Khalifat as a general coordinator, South.

Dr. Philip Nongu, president of Lobi Stars Stars Football Club of Makurdi, is the new director of Welfare, while Alhaji Ahmed Usman Egye, president of the Basira Football Club of Lafia, is the new Secretary General.

“With the structures and resolutions implemented at the AGM, we are confident and fully prepared for the start of the new season”, Enakhena Hawred.

“The interested parties, the fans and the entire football family are looking forward to a more organized, competitive and fun season,” he concluded.

The NNL season of 2025/2026 will begin on November 8, 2025.
