Five people who died after the tour bus returned to New York City from Niagara Falls Falls had been named.
Bus, with 54 passengers on boat, fall and rolled in Intestate 90 near Pembroke, about 30 miles (48 km) East Buffalo, New YorkAround 12:30 pm (17.30 British time) on Friday.
In updates on Saturday, the New York National Police said that those who died were identified as:
• Shankar Kumar Jha, 65, from Madhu Bani, India;
• Pinki Changrani, 60, from East Brunswick, New Jersey;
• Zhang Xiaolan, 55 from Jersey City, New Jersey;
• Jian Mingli, 56, from Jersey City;
• Xie Hongzhuo, a 22 -year -old student at Columbia University, from Beijing, China.
After the student was named, Columbia University said in a statement that the faculty was “destroyed”.
“This heartbreaking loss feels far throughout our community,” he added. “We are close to their families and offer full support to them.
“Our deepest thoughts and sympathy are with family, friends, and everything that has been touched by this tragedy.”

Erie County Medical Center, where 21 passengers were hospitalized due to injury, said that on Saturday afternoon, 14 patients were in a stable condition but remained in the hospital.
The authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident, which does not involve other vehicles. The driver was not charged with regarding the incident on Friday.
The Department of State Police Andre Ray said in a press conference that the driver had been disrupted, lost control and excessively corrected before the bus entered the right shoulder and reversed.
“Absolute tragedy occurs,” he added. “And the first and especially, our minds, prayers, and hearts are on those involved, their friends and their families.”

Mr Ray added that the initial investigation had override the mechanical failure or driver’s disturbance, and that the driver survived the accident and cooperated with the police.
