The union of the players of Nigeria, the National Association of Professional Footers (Nanpf) has declared that the union is focused to ensure that the issues relating to the well -being of the players and the provisions of the contractual agreement of the players are never compromised or discounted the clubs for granted.

This was announced by the Union on 25 July 2025 through a declaration by the president of the player Union Board, the Nigeria ex International Sunday Abe, while expressing concern for the street and the way some clubs neglect the full implementation of the contractual agreement between players and clubs and also playing on their welfare packages, including the payment of their bonuses entitled for which they worked.
