Ndlea Nabs Kingpin Narcotics Famous in Asaba after three years of Manhunt

Three years after launching the hunt for him for a violation of drug trafficking, the alleged drug kingpin, Sunday Ibigide, who was 36 years old, was captured by the Operations of the National Narcotics Law Enforcement Agency (Ndlea) in Asaba, Delta State.

He was arrested temporarily allegedly trying to move 250 Sigung blocks weighing 138 kilograms with a distribution bus.

According to a statement by Femi Babafemi, Director, Media & Advocacy Agency on Sunday, Ibigide was under the spotlight on March 19, 2022 in connection with the confiscation of 24,137kg of the same psychoactive substance and 10grams molly but after that went underground.

He said, “However, following the credible intelligence, the Ndlea operator at the Delta State can catch him together with one of his aide Clement Osuya, 27, when they try to move 250 Sigung parcels for distribution on Sunday, August 10, 2025”.
