NFF dismisses Enyimba’s appeal over lost points

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) Disciplinary Committee has dismissed Enyimba’s appeal regarding points dropped in their match against Rangers International.

This decision follows Enyimba’s refusal to continue the match after a penalty was awarded to Rangers in the final minutes.

The former NPFL champions were fined N2 million by the NPFL, a decision upheld by the NFF.

The NFF memo highlighted several points:

The Committee confirmed the fine of N1 million for Enyimba’s failure to monitor his players, officials and supporters.

The N5 million fine for disrupting the live broadcast was quashed for lack of evidence.

The N1 million fine for fans who threw objects was also quashed for lack of evidence.

The 3 points and 3 goals awarded to Rangers were maintained in accordance with Article 13.26 of the NPFL Framework and Rules.

The N1 million fine for field trespass was upheld.
