The union of the judicial staff of Nigeria (Jusun) ordered its members to start a strike on a national level from midnight on June 1, 2025.
The directive was contained in a circular signed by its acting general secretary, MJ Akwashiki.
The union ordered all the federal chapters of the Union to stay at home as of June 1, 2025.
“This directive follows unsuccessful meetings in the application of the Minister of Labor and Remarking that was conciliatory for our question”.
“We believe that, as indicated by the organs of the Union, of the National Working Committee (NWC) and the National Executive Council (NEC) of our great union, the action will continue until further notice,” said the circular.
Jusun’s requests included 5 -month payment due to wage premiums, the implementation of a minimum salary of β¦ 70,000 national national and an increase in salary wages of 25% to 35% for judicial workers.
