The Nigerian Army ranked 39th bravest in the Global Firepower Index – Lagbaja.

The Nigerian Army was ranked as it has persevered and grown to become the 39th bravest in terms of matching any adversary out of over 145 countries assessed in the Global Firepower Index in 2024. The Chief of Army Staff, the Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, disclosed this on Monday, at a press conference to kick off activities in celebration of the Nigerian Army Day (NADCEL) 2024 with the theme “Transforming the Nigerian Army: Imperative to Combat Challenges contemporary with security in a common environment”.
