A former light weight champion of West Africa and West Africa, the “success” of Segun Hlarenrewaju, died after collapsing during a fight in Ghana on Saturday.

The unfortunate accident that captured the collapse of Holrewaju was shared in a viral video.

Holrewaju was fighting against the boxer of Ghana Jon Mbanugu at the Fight Night 15 of the Ghana Professional Boxing League at the Bukom Boxing Arena when he passed out.

Segun, a 40 -year -old veteran of this sport, was participating in a UnderCard match on the Fight Night 15 of the Ghana Professional Boxing League when the unimaginable happened.

Segun, known for his strong punches and the resilient character, was in front of points in a competitive but friendly encounter with Mbanugu, nicknamed “Power”, a nascent star born in Accra in the Ghana boxing.

Born in Lagos, the 40 -year -old began his professional career in 2019, where he passed Chukwuma Igwe in his first meeting.

In his professional career, he recorded 13 wins, with 12 on the way through Knockout, suffered eight defeats and had two draws.
