The Federal Government has reached out to Kaduna State in an effort to strengthen the national school feeding programme.
Senior Special Assistant to the President on School Feeding, Dr. Yetunde Adeniji, disclosed this during a meeting with the state deputy governor, Dr. Hadiza Balarabe.
The Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Representatives, Yusuf Liman, and the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Jerry Adam, were also present at the meeting.
Adeniji said the visit to Kaduna was to kick off the first phase of the Value for Money Study in partnership with GAIN.

He said: βWe are exploring collaborative opportunities to advance education initiatives and ensure continued progress in school feeding programmes across the state.
βThe visit, which marks the second phase of the national Value for Money (VFM) study, underscores the presidentβs commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration for the benefit of every child in Kaduna.β
The visit follows the launch of the national βValue for Money (VFM)β study, a programme aimed at ensuring school feeding schemes are delivering maximum impact to school children and making efficient use of government funds.
