The former presidential spokesman Femi Adesina revealed that the life of Muhammadu Buhari could have been interrupted if he had relying on Nigerian hospitals for his medical care.
Saud adhesin this during the special coverage of the television of the Buhari funeral channels.
Adhesina explained that Bohari had a history of medical care research in London, even before becoming president in 2015.
He said: “Those who criticized Buhari’s death in a London hospital should understand that the former president had always used London hospitals before being elected president.
“The United Kingdom doctors were already familiar with the medical history of Buhari and there was no need to change them.”
Adhesin highlighted the limits of some Nigerian hospitals, stating that the structures and skills necessary to manage complex medical cases such as Bohari’s medical cases were missing.
This, implied, could have put the life of the former president at risk if he had sought treatments at the local level.
