The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (Nimasa) has announced the promotion of nine deputy director to the degree of directors, together with 234 other staff members in various paintings.
The promotions, approved by the Board of Directors of the Agency, saw 30 assistants high directors to deputy director, 35 items promoted to directors assistants, while another 169 staff members were advanced at the next level.
Among the New Directors Are Mrs. Moji Jimh (Coordinator, Abuja Liaison Office), Dr. Odunayo Ani (Director, Internal Audit), Mrs. Nneka Obianyor (Special Adviser to the DG), Mrs. Biodun Fatade (Director, Procurement), Dr. Oma Ofodile, MS. Gloria Anyasodo, Mr. Abdulahi Yelwa, Mr. Uar Buba, and Mr. Urar Ibrahim Sidi.
Congating with the beneficiaries, the general manager of Nimasa, Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has reaffirmed the commitment of the management of the well -being of staff members and the progression of the transparent career.
He urged the officers who have just promoted to see their elevation as a motivation to obtain greater results.
“Our administration is committed to improving staff well -being. This promotion exercise is severely based on merit and we plan that staff reciprocates by reiding on themselves to greater productivity. We will continue to give priority to the well -being of the staff, counting your commitment for the ideals of the Agency in helping the direction to realize its mandate”, said Mobereola.
The DG stressed that the agency would support a fair promotion system and merit, designed to inspire excellence and professionalism in the provision of services.
