The Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Bayelsa State Chapter, will hold its annual general meeting (AGM) and elect new executive officers to lead the affairs of the chapter.
In a press statement signed by the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, SP Gunn Ewhoborwo Emonena, and Secretary, Okpobodisere Vivian Deiseidei-Oputu, the committee urged all registered members in Bayelsa State to attend the event.
According to the statement, the general assembly and elections will be held at Ayabowei Plaza, opposite Kpassociazione Market, Yenagoa.
The statement describes elections as crucial to ensuring continuity, good governance and effective representation of members’ interests.

He added that the meeting will also feature the election of new leaders who will lead the affairs of the Bayelsa State Chapter for the next term.
Members were also urged to maintain decorum throughout the process, vote responsibly and actively support the Institute’s democratic principles.
