Nollywood veteran actor, Pete Edochie gave a reason why Igbos struggled in politics

The Nollywood veteran actor, Pete Edochie, has given a reason why some IGBos struggled to make their signs in Nigerian politics, with the reason that it was because of their inability to tolerate betrayal and betrayal.

Edochie, who made a statement during an interview with Afia TV on Thursday, said that the IGBO politician quickly broke the relationship and broke away from people who cheated and betrayed them.

He explained that this characteristic that was rooted in the culture of IGBO which respected loyalty and trust, often made it difficult for most IGBO politicians to maintain sustainable relationships but often opportunistic needed for political progress in Nigeria.

Thespian, who associated this with the IGBO culture where people prioritize loyalty and trust, emphasized that these traits can prevent the career of IGBO politicians, because they may struggle to defend strategic alliances in the cruel political world.

“An IGBO man is not a good politician. And I will tell you why. People who are accustomed to politics or betrayal that are political features, can ignore many things,” he said.

“But the IGBO man was not formed to lead the betrayal for the second time. If you hurt an IGBO man once in politics, he will never give you the opportunity to hurt him again. He will rearrange himself. That’s an ordinary Igbo man.

“The IGBO man is really not formed to maintain political betrayal. When you show betrayal in your involvement with an IGBO man, they cut you. That’s all,” he emphasized.
