Northern professionals support the development of Tinubu Genda, Ave Uba Sani, Riadu

The Northern Professionals and Academics Forum (NPAF) has expressed a strong support for the recent observations made by the Governor of the State of Kaduna, the Senator UBA SANI and the National Security Consultant (NSA), Malam Nuhu RIPADU, praising the development steps of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Northern Nigeria.

Speaking at the opening of an interactive forum of two days on the city commitment of the government organized by the Sir Ahmadu Memorial Foundation (Sabmf) at the Arewa House of Kaduna, the Governor Sani applauded President Tinubu, the unprecedented stadium “” No governor will oppose him. “

While NSA Malam Ribadu highlighted significant improvements in the safety architecture in Kaduna and nearby states. He accredited the collaboration efforts between the federal and state security pockets for the remarkable drop in bandits and kidnapping accidents.

According to Ribadu, the improved security climate has restored trust in road travel between government officials and citizens.

In a declaration signed by his head of communications, Hajiya Fatima Bello, the NPAF praised the governor Sani and NSA Riadu for their reflection “Honest and factual” of the results of President Tinubu.

The statement also stated: “Those who attack them for telling the truth are nothing but northern enemies.

“We can see that our governors now have more resources to implement people -oriented projects and pay workers’ salaries in time.

“It is obvious that under the guidance of Tinubu, northern Nigeria is experiencing a supported concentration on critical areas such as infrastructure, health care, education and safety.

“The governor UBA Sani and Malam Ribadu have rightly highlighted these results, which align with our assessments as professionals and scholars dedicated to the progress of the region.”

The NPAF praised the “multidimensional approach” of President Tinubu to development, describing it as a “project for inclusive governance.

“We greet the Governor Sani and the consultant RIPADU for having highlighted these successes, which are being translated into real improvements in the means of subsistence and in safety throughout the North,” he added.

However, the group warned that some individuals within the region continue to undermine the president’s efforts because of those who have described as “useless feelings”.

Section 22 of the 1999  Constitution states: “ “The press, radio, television and other agencies of the mass media  shall at all times be free to uphold the fundamental objectives contained in this chapter( ie Chapter II) and uphold the responsibility and accountability of the Government to the people”  Section 39(1)  of same Constitution states : “Every person shall be entitled to freedom of expression, including freedom to hold opinions and to receive and impart ideas and information without interference” ..  To complement these constitutional provisions, Section 1 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) states “Notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, law or regulation, the right of any person to access or request information, whether or not contained in any written form, which is in the custody or possession of any public official, agency or institution howsoever described, is established.” while Section  2(2), states that: “A public institution shall ensure the proper organization and maintenance of all information in its custody in a manner that facilitates public access to such information”  Primary Purpose of FOIA  According to the Act, its primary purpose is to make information about public records freely available to every Nigerian in the public interest. …
