NSC is scheduled for the two -day capacity construction seminar for sports officials, professionals
Abuja (basic reporter) in line with the renewed mission and vision of the National Sports Commission (NSC) under the guidance of President Mallam Shehu Dikko and the general manager Hon. Bukola Olopade, the NSC is destined to host a two -day capacity construction seminar aimed at enhancing its sports and professionals at the Commission.
The seminar, which will take place from 6 to 7 May at the Media Center of the National Stadium of Moshood Abiola, Abuja, is the theme “Restore, refocals and relaunch of the Nigerian sports sector for greater performance”.
It aligns with the strategic direction of the NSC to build a more vibrant and economically valid sports sector.
Tagged “standing par excellence”, the workshop is designed to equip the NSC staff – the key drivers of the new agenda of the Commission – with the tools, knowledge and mentality necessary to raise the productivity and the provision of services through the sports ecosystem.
The director of the elite athletes, Olumide Bamiduro, said that “it is essential to train sports officers because we aspire to them to work with the updated knowledge of the best global practices, in particular at the level of the elite of sports performance. The initiative is a crucial step to unlock the full potential of the sports economy in Nigeria.”
He added that the participants will engage in high impact sessions focused on innovation, responsibility and strategic planning tailor -made for the evolution objectives of the Commission.
