NSCDC stops 12 Vandal suspicions in FCT during the Sallah holidays

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) arrested 12 suspicions of vandals in different locations within the territory of the federal capital during the holidays of Sallah.

Briefing Reporter Tuesday in Abuja, the commander of the NSCDC Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Osusola Odumosu, said the
The arrest was made possible by the tactical team of critical national activities and infrastructure of the FCT command, which were in routine patrol during the festival to ensure the safety of life and properties in the federal capital.

Odumosu said that suspicions are Stephen instincts, 43 years old; Samson Danladi, 29; and Yakubu thanks, 35; Barnabas Sobok, 25; Zayyanu Muhammad, 21 years old;

Others are healthy Wakili, 55 years old; Usman Dankastina, 38 years old; Abdulahi Saidu, 31; Ibrahim Haruna, 32; Sambo Abraham, 34: Urar Suleiman; Musa Ibrahim, 20

He observed that the exhibitions recovered by them include armored cables, accessories for telecommunication trees, three pacts, three daggers, an ax, pieces of galvanized iron bars and advertising posters, among others.

Commenting on the arrest, Odumosu said that the command was determined to put an end to the vandali’s scascality in the FCT.

He said: β€œYou know, these criminals exploit the festive season to perpetrate their atrocious acts, we are not unaware of their tactics, this is a reason why we presented closer surveillance during the celebration period to beat them at their game

“It is discouraging that the federal government and the FCT administration under the guidance of the lawyer Nyesom Wike, are practically demonstrating their part by providing citizens with the essential structures to make life significant and here we have some unscrupulous elements committed to vandalizing these national goods for their selfish interests, this must stop.”

Odumosu claimed that the FCT command is ready to do everything, the rain or the brilliance to provide protection for all national activities and infrastructures critical under their competence.

He said: “We are here to serve our father’s land, we have the responsibility to protect the roofs of the manholes, telecommunication trees and their accessories, water pipes and other national critical activities provided by the government to make life significant for the people of the FCT and we cannot renounce our efforts to implement these important national assignments.”

However, he warned mentally criminal mentality elements to desist from sabotage the government’s efforts or be ready to face the entire weight of the law by adding that disobedience to the law, in particular the theft and vandalism of the national activities critical and infrastructure, will not be treated with levity when captured.

The FCT commander appealed to FCT residents to help the body with vital intelligence information to help them deliver their mandate.
