Japanese technology giant Fujitsu and American chip maker Nvidia have formed a strategic partnership to create the latest -powered robot and related technology, which is expected to accelerate global competitions in artificial intelligence.
Fujitsu’s old skills in the computing system, robotics, and social infrastructure are combined with NVIDIA knowledge that leads the industry about AI processors and software platforms in this alliance.
“The AI industrial revolution has begun. Building infrastructure for power, is very important in Japan and throughout the world,” said Nvidia Executive Chief Jensen Huang, hugging his colleague Fujitsu, Takahito Tokita on the stage.

Tokita stated that the company adopted a “Humancentric” strategy to maintain Japanese competitiveness while they collaborated with AI, accelerating production using robotics and digital twins to overcome the problems of Japanese old labor.
“Through our collaboration with Nvidia, we aim to create new technology that has never happened before and contribute to solving more serious social problems,” he said.
The company will collaborate to create what they have dubbed “AI infrastructure,” or a framework that will support various AI applications in the future, such as manufacturing, health care, environment, computing the next generation, and customer service.
