Bob certainly never considered himself married. He made that clear on endless occasions. He never publicly acknowledged Rita as his wife.There are interviews of him where when asked if he ever got married he says "Never!" and when asked why Rita has his name then, he says
"she got it by being in the band".
Other time when asked if he "has a queen", he says "i have more than one queen,
i feel entitled to all the queens". Other time he says "i am
free, single and disengaged, but i got lots of girls". Honestly, you can’t call Cindy or all the other girls he has dated/had flings with “homewreckers” when this was a man who didn’t see himself tied to anyone. Rita and him didn’t even live together.They didn’t own a home together. He lived on Hope Road while Rita lived separetely with the kids.When he left Jamaica after the 1976 attempt, he went to England and lived with Cindy for like 3 years while Rita was in Jamaica. Everyone can draw their own conclusions but it’s pretty evident they weren’t ever married in the typical sense. Rita wasn’t his main at all and it is delusional to believe that. Get over it.
