Olusegun binds to FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod on loan

Nigerian striker Olakunle Olusegun has joined the Russian club FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod lent by FC Krasnodar.

Olusegun played a key role in the winning campaign of title 2024/25 of Krasnodar.

The former Golden Eaglet Star initially joined Krasnodar on the loan of the Bulgarian Club Botev Plovdiv in the 2021/2022 season.

The transfer became permanent the following season.

The front versatile made 100 appearances in the League for the Bulls, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists.

He previously played for FDC Vista Gelendzhik and Fremad Amager.

Olusegun represented Nigeria in the 2019 Sub-17 Cup of Africa, and in the 2019 U-17 World Cup where he scored in his 16 3-1 losses round against the Netherlands.

The player has been limited once at the upper level by Nigeria.
