Once again, Nimet provides for the 3 -day rain, thunderstorms at national level

The Nigerian meteorological agency (Nimet) has planned rainworms and Thundery conditions spread across the country from Monday to Wednesday.

In its three -day meteorological prospects released on Sunday evening in Abuja, the agency provided for morning storms with moderate rains on parts of the northern region, including Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Gombe and Taraba, Monday.

He said that later during the day, isolated thunderstorms with moderate rains in Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna and Taraba are also planned.

“A cloudy atmosphere with sunshine intervals is foreseen in the central region,” said Nimet.

The agency included morning thunderstorms and light rains in Niger, Kwara, The Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Kogi, Benue and Nasarawa, followed by isolated thunderstorms with moderate rains in Niger, Kwara and FCT later during the day.

He said that the southern region would experience cloudy skies with light rains expected in Oyo, Ogun, Lagos and Cross River States during the morning hours.

“Later during the day, isolated thunderstorms are planned with moderate multi -rain throughout the region.

“In the northern region, sunburns are foreseen with cloud spots, with morning thunderstorms probably in the states of Taraba and Adamawa. Isolated thunderstorms are planned with moderate multiplasses for Zamfara, Kaduna, Gombe and Adamawa.

“In the central region: a cloudy atmosphere with sun is anticipated, with morning thunderstorms and light resistances in Benue, Niger and Kwara. Later, during the day, a moderate rain is expected in Kwara, Kogi, Benue, FCT and Niger.

“For the southern region, the cloudy skies are foreseen in the morning with light rains scheduled for Oyo, Ondo, Imo, Enugu, Anambra, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Cross River.

“For the northern region, sunny skies are planned with cloud stains, with light morning rains in Adamawa, Kaduna and the states of Taraba. Isolated thunderstorms and moderate rains are probably in Adamawa, Taraba, Kaduna and Bauchi in the United States.”

The agency stated that cloudy conditions are expected with sun intervals, with a light rain probably in the morning through the states of the Niger, FCT, Kogi and Benue.

“In the afternoon and evening, moderate thunderstorms are expected in the States of Benue, Plateau, Kogi and Nasarawa.

“The region will experience cloudy skies and light legendary showers in Edo, Ondo, Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Cross River and Akwa Ibom States,” he said. Nan
