Onuachu finished moving to Trabzonspor from Southampton

Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu has completed a permanent switch to Trabzonspor, ending his short spell in Southampton.

The Turkish club received a towering attacker service at a cost of € 5.6 million ($ 6.6 million), financial losses were important for Southampton, who initially paid € 18 million to sign it from KRC Genk in January 2023.

Onuachu, 31, returned to Trabzonspor following a successful loan spell during the 2023/24 season, where he made a strong impression by scoring 17 goals in 25 matches.

Time in England is less useful, with only four goals and one assist in 25 premier league performances for Saints.

Trabzonspor, who was third in Türkiye’s Super Lig Lig last season, wanted to build their strong campaign.

They will start their new season on Sunday, August 10, with a match against Kocelispor under the leadership of manager Fatih Tekke.
