The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed the final contenders for the women’s categories in the upcoming CAF Awards 2023.

Notably, Nigeria’s Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie, secured their places in the Award Category among the final player.

 

However, the exclusion of midfielder Rasheedat Ajibade from the final ten players shortlisted for the honor came as a surprise to many.

The fate of these exceptional athletes will be determined through a voting process involving a panel comprising CAF Technical Committee members, media professionals from Member Associations.

Also, Head Coaches and Captains from both Member Associations and clubs participating in the group stages of the Interclub competitions.

The climax of anticipation is set for Monday, 11 December 2023, when the prestigious Awards Gala unfolds at the Palais des Congrès, Movenpick, in Marrakech, Morocco.
