The agent of Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen says viral talk of a loan to Chelsea in a swap deal that will see Romelu Lukaku join Napoli is fake news. GolNigeria.com own reports.
The move that is said to be moving forward between both parties due to the desires of the players involved to move in the opposite direction is expected to come to a conclusion, before August 7th.
While Chelsea are demanding a loan with an option to buy, Napoli want it to be an obligation to buy if the Blues reach the UEFA Champions League next season. There has been no truce on what will happen after the loan, hence the stalemate in the operation.
Reacting to the news, the Nigerian’s agent Roberto Calenda took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, to call the entire news fake and demanded that respect be shown to the Nigerian who finished top scorer in Napoli’s title win, their third in their history.
“I read about imaginative exchanges with Victor sent here and there as if he were a package to be delivered quickly. This package, however, is the top scorer of the third Scudetto in Napoli’s history. Respect and stop making fake news!” he posted on his account.
